The Fulton County Arts Council announces funding opportunities for Nonprofit Organizations and Artist Collectives
DEADLINE: THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2010 at 5:00 P.M.
The Fulton County Arts Council invites Fulton County-based arts and cultural, community-based nonprofits, and artist collectives to apply for funding ranging from $1,000 to $150,000 to support arts programming in Fulton County.
The Funding Categories Overview (listed below) will help you determine your appropriate category. Application workshop attendance is REQUIRED for all new applicants. Please see below for details.
Provides general support to encourage outreach efforts by large Fulton County non-profit arts and cultural organizations
ARTS & CULTURE
Provides general and project support for small and mid-sized Fulton County non-profit arts and cultural organizations
ARTS SERVICES PROVIDERS
Provides general and project support for nonprofit organizations offering specialized services to the arts and culture community.
Provides general and project support for non-profit organizations based in North, South and Southwest Fulton County that provide arts and cultural services for citizens of those communities.
SMALL & EMERGING ARTS ORGANIZATIONS
Provides capacity building, project support, and technical assistance for small and emerging non-profit arts and cultural organizations and artist collectives. Available for:
•Fulton County non-profit arts and cultural organizations and artist collectives (i.e., groups of individual artists) whose primary mission is related to the arts with budgets under $100,000
•New organizations that have been incorporated for three (3) years or less

WORKSHOPS
Fulton County Arts Council staff will lead workshops in February 2010 that will address the application process and guidelines. All workshops are free to Fulton County-based organizations and artists.
Attendance is REQUIRED for all new applicants and seating is limited so advance registration is required.
In addition to an overview of the application process, the workshops are a great opportunity for organizations and groups with current or proposed programs to meet potential collaborators, brainstorm about possible projects and partnerships, and learn more about resources for nonprofit organizations.
